About Dave Trinkley
Dave Trinkley is the President and CEO of Graphel Corporation in West Chester, Ohio. After marrying the most incredible person he had ever met and attending Penn State University, he started a graphite manufacturing business that was located in North Central Pennsylvania where he served as Owner, President & CEO. During the next few years he participated in and lead two additional successful start-up companies, one in sales and another in manufacturing.
After eleven years of continued growth, the graphite manufacturing company was sold to GrafTech International in Parma Ohio. Dave became the Director of Operations for the Engineered Solutions Business Group at GrafTech and lead a Goal Deployment Project totaling over $100 million dollars in capital spend over a three year period. While employed at GrafTech, he completed several business certifications including accomplishing Green Belt Status in Lean Manufacturing through Villanova University. In January of 2014 Dave had the opportunity to join and lead Graphel Corporation.
Much of Dave’s time outside of work includes volunteering in organizations to benefit others. He chaired the Athletic Fundraising Committee at Penn State University DuBois Campus for several years and participated in The Campaign for the Future of Penn State Students which raised over $750 million dollars over a five-year period to benefit future Penn State students. The graphite company he owned sponsored many programs in the local community that provided help and support to the youth groups including a Summer Reading Program for 40-60 students every year.
Workforce Development has also been a passion. Dave served for Governor Ed Rendell on Pennsylvania’s State Workforce Board for three years and is currently serving as Chairman of the Development Committee for the Butler, Warren, and Clermont County Ohio Workforce Board. Anything outdoors including golf, hunting, fishing, hiking and ATVing is where he can be found during most off-time hours.
Dave and his wife Mandy raised two beautiful Children, Mikayla & Benjamin. He and Mandy currently reside in Liberty Township, Ohio with their three labs Emmie, Mylee, and Maddie.
