Michelle Giordano is an HR executive and practitioner with more than twenty-five years of experience leading cultural turnarounds — building organizational health today to secure the performance of tomorrow.
Across her career, Michelle has conducted cultural turnarounds in the organizations that have met her path, with the goal of ensuring organizational health for the future performance of the companies. Along the way she has served as a management consultant and has developed and coached HR professionals and business leaders inside the organizations she has served. Driven by a strong desire to help business professionals improve their emotional intelligence for the betterment of their teams, Michelle pursued and earned her executive coaching certification from Pennsylvania State University.
Having spent the bulk of her career in the industrial and manufacturing sector — in both union and non-union environments — Michelle grew up in the world of continuous improvement, utilizing Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Through Air Academy Associates, she completed her training and finalized her financial savings project to become a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
With a focus on accountability of self and others, Michelle guides organizations to understand their Human Resources and People Vision while aligning these actions to serving customers and maximizing company financials through driving performance. She believes that when you lead your people the right way, your people are motivated to take care of your customers and your business.
Michelle graduated Cum Laude from Cedar Crest College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Management and Human Resource Management, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Phoenix College of Business and Management with her Master of Business Administration. She is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a certified Human Capital Institute Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP). Her honors include USAA All American Scholar, the National Collegiate Business Merit Award, and membership in Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges.
